Two excellent portrait photos of a member of SS-Standarte Deutschland. One earlier one showing him with SS-VT sidecap and skull button. Furthermore, he wears "D" shoulder boards and no (!) collar tabs.
The other portrait shows him as a Sturmmann a little later.
