Family purchased grouping to Wehrmacht war photographer Hans Zorn. He shot the most famous photo of Generalfeldmarschall Erwin Rommel standing in his car in Afrika. Zorn was a close friend of Afrika veteran and Knight´s Cross recipient Oberstleutnant Georg Briel (Heeres-Flak-Btl. 606). Zorn is mentioned in many books about the Afrika Campaign.

15 period time photographs and 14 postwar photos of Hans Zorn. Most photos were taken in Africa. The large photo of Rommel could be an early postwar photo. The paper does not come up under UV light but still is not as dark as other photos which are definitely period time. 

Zorn himself is shown on a few photos. On one photo, he wears a British battle dress uniform!
