BESCHREIBUNG ANSEHEN

A superb example of a hollow zinc made General Assault Badge by Lüdenscheid based Gebrüder Wegerhoff (GWL). One of the more uncommonly encountered GAB's and very difficult to find in this condition. Normally their fragile finish didn't really stand the test of time. (Cf. F. Heukemes , The General Assault Badge, pages 82-83)
