This tunic was period time modified by a tailor due to the personal taste of the owner. Soldiers preferred the more elegant M36 style featuring a dark green collar, dark green insignia and a vertical pocket bar. All modifications were executed period time and definitely prior 1945.
Modifications like these are quite common and give this tunic a unique touch.
Collar tabs: Light-green officer's tabs attached by machine.
Breast eagle: Machine-woven officer's pattern attached by machine. (Re-attached through the liner after promotion period time. It was originally attached through the liner by the fabric before as well).
Shoulder boards: Rare light-green boards for a Leutnant. Sewn-in.
Buttons: Complete. Period time attached. Full color.
Lining: Silk. No damage.
Markings:"0/0760/0168" (?) Rb-numbered. Size marked.
Three pair of awards loops and one for a Close Combat Clasp or ribbon bar.
Hand-attached embroidered Jäger sleeve badge.
