Beschreibung

Document grouping to Unteroffizier Fritz Högerbaum serving with Sturzkampfgeschwader 77. German Cross in Gold winner on 21.8.1942 (posthumously awarded). Also awarded the Luftwaffe Honor Goblet on 2.4.1942. Uffz. Högerbaum was killed in action on 18.4.1942. 

Certificate to Wound Badge in Black. Issued on 18.2.194. Hand-signed by Hauptmann Helmut Bruck, Knight's Cross winner.

"Heldentod" hero's death certificate. Issued on 16.7.1942. Hand-signed by Hauptmann Helmut Bruck, Knight's Cross winner.

A congratulatory letter for the award of the German Cross in Gold by Kommodore Alfons Orthhofer, Knight's Cross winner. Dated "27.9.1942". However, by this time Uffz. Högerbaum was already dead. Hand-signed by him. Enclosed is the reply letter from Fritz Högerbaum's father. In this letter, he asks for the sending of the German Cross in Gold with the certificate as well as the Luftwaffe Honor Goblet. Dated "11.12.1942".

A hand-written condulence letter from Oberleutnant Helmut Leicht to his father. Dated "18.4.1942". Oberleutnant Helmut Leicht was awarded the German Cross in Gold and the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves. Killed in action on 26.6.1944. Not easy to find!

A hand-written letter from Leutnant Gerhard Stüdemann to his father. Dated "14.12.1942". Lt. Stüdemann was awarded the German Cross in Gold, the Luftwaffe Honor Goblet, and the Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves. 

Three letters from the Sturzkampfgeschwader 77 to his family. As requested by his father, the German Cross in Gold, the Luftwaffe Honor Goblet, and the East Medal were sent to the family. Each document is hand-signed by an Oberleutnant and Staffelführer. 

Furthermore three period time documents and a folder for a promotion document.
