Deutsches Reich 1918 - 1945
Heer Inf.Rgt.19 Uniformnachlass - Leutnant Wagner

Beschreibung

Comprehensive family grouping of infantry Oberleutnant Rudolf Wagner serving with Infanterie-Regiment 19.

Heer infantry parade tunic for a Leutnant. Missing breast eagle.
Silk lining. It is "1./I.R.19 geprüft" marked and therefore a rare depot issued piece.
Moth damage

Heer infantry visor cap for an officer. Early tombak cap eagle. Hand-attached wreath badge. Silk lining with removed celluloid tag.
Moth damage.  Size 55/56.

A framed portrait photo of the owner wearing exactly the same visor cap! Several other photos and portraits of Wagner and other soldiers. At least one shows the same visor in wear again.

A quite nice Luftwaffe M40 single decal helmet with the liner missing. All rivets, the inner lining ring and parts of the straps are in place. Most of the original factory color in place. The eagle decal is nearly 100%.
A very nice helmet well worth getting restored with a nice liner. The helmet most probably belonged to a family member.

His Heer officer's dagger with hangers. A later zinc example with denazified eagle. Signs of wear. Unmarked.

Other personal belongings to Wagner such as his medals.
Iron Cross 2nd Class and 1st Class, Austria Medal, Sudetenland Medal, Sport's Badge and his personal ring marked "11./I.R.19". A very rare and never seen before piece.
His Iron Cross 1st Class is a very nice 65 marked piece.
