A very rare example made by Ils Franz / Söhne, an Austrian maker!
Blade (nickel-plated) showing the etched motto "Alles für Deutschland" and the maker's mark of Pils Franz & Söhne Solingen (RZM M7/102). The blade no longer holds the scabbard properly (slides down).
Pils Franz & Söhne was the only maker which made his blades totally different. The maker's mark is stamped. The etched blade looks to be re-nickeled.
Brown wooden handle with inserted SA roundel and eagle. It has a chip on the front. Nickel-plated steel (!) crossguards. Original black-painted steel scabbard with nickel-plated iron fittings. It has a small dent on the ball and two screws are missing.
Includes the leather hanger. No maker's mark. The snap clip is fully functional.
