Beschreibung

An excellent grouping to Oberst Lothar Baas serving with Feldflieger-Abteilung 26 during WWI.

Certificate to Imperial German Pilot's Badge. Issued on 24.6.1914. Hand-signed by a Generalleutnant. Numbered "207". Very hard to find!

Certificate to Order of the Zähringer Lion, Knight's Cross 2nd Class with Swords. Issued on 2.9.1915. Facsimile signature.

Three imperial promotion documents.

Third Reich promotion document. Promoted to Major. Issued on 15. May 1936 by Luftkreiskommando IV. Hand-signed by Adolf Hilter, Hermann Göring, and Werner von Blomberg. Double-sided.

Third Reich promotion document. Promoted to Oberstleutnant. Issued on 31. December 1938. Facsimile signature by Adolf Hilter and hand-signed by Generaloberst Hans-Jürgen Stumpff, Knight's Cross winner. Double-sided. Comes with the original folder and the matching paper cover to the folder.

Third Reich promotion document. Promoted to Oberst. Issued on 22. July 1941. Facsimile signature by Adolf Hilter and Hermann Göring. Double-sided. Comes with the original folder and the matching paper cover to the folder.

Three portrait photos of him and a family photo. His awards are nice to see.

A very interesting "photo album" consisting of 146 aviation photos. Each photo is numbered and partly provided with handwritten information. It is probably his teaching material from the Militär-Fliegerschule Fokker-Aeroplanbau m.b.H., Schwerin. Enclosed is the certificate, confirming that he took the pilot's exam there ("Feldpilotenprüfung"). Dated "26.9.1913".

Furthermore some period time documents of him.

Overall condition 2.
