Early hollow Buntmatall/Tombak Silver grade Infantry Assault Badge. Unmarked but safely attributed to Pforzheim-based maker O.Schickle. One of the more commonly encountered IAB's but a must in every self-respecting IAB collection. The award clearly saw its part of the action but apart from the typical finish loss, exposing the high-quality base metal remains in good condition.
