An extensive document grouping to Hauptmann Gerhard Scheffler serving with Panzer-Regiment 6.

Certificate to the shooting lanyard for tank crew members. Issued on 29.9.1937. Signed by an Oberleutnant. 

Heer promotion document. Promoted to Leutnant. Issued on 10.9.1938. Facsimile by Walther von Brauchitsch. Double-sided.

Certificate to Sudetenland Medal with Clasp "Prager Burg". Issued on 8.11.1939. Signed by an Oberleutnant. 

Certificate to Heer Long Service Award 4th Class. Issued on 1.10.1939. Signed by an Oberstleutnant. 

Certificate to 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Issued on 25.10.1939. Signed by Generalleutnant Leo Geyr von Schweppenburg, Knight's Cross winner.

Certificate to Tank Assault Badge in Silver. Field made. Issued on 19.5.1940. Facsimile by Generalmajor Horst Stumpff.

Certificate to 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class. Issued on 11.11.1940. Signed by Generalmajor Horst Stumpff, Knight's Cross winner.

Certificate to 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords. Issued on 1.9.1942. Signed by General Willibald Freiherr von Langermann und Erlencamp, Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves winner. 

Certificate to Hungarian Order of Merit, Officer's Cross. Issued on 28.10.1942. Including all documents issued with the certificate. 

"Hero's Death" certificate. Issued on 8.1.1943. Signed by Oberst Otto Heidenkämper, Knight's Cross winner. Hauptmann Scheffler was killed in action together with General Willibald Freiherr von Langermann und Erlencamp on 3. October 1942 at Storoshewoje ("in a foray in the front line"). In addition four "long" hand-written letters from Oberst Heidenkämper to his family. Dated "October 1942".

Heer Wehrpass. Issued on 6.4.1940. Original applied photo. His units are listed on page 12. Awards: 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Sudetenland Medal with Clasp "Prager Burg", Tank Assault Badge in Silver, Heer Long Service Award 4th Class, 1939 Iron Cross 1st Class, East Medal, and 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with Swords. Listed on pages 23 and 38. Campaign list from 1.9.1939 until 3.10.1942. Promoted to Hauptmann on 1.10.1942. Noted on page 23.

RJA (Reichsjugendabzeichen) achievement booklet. Awarded on 20.9.1931. Original applied photo.

DRL Sports Badge achievement booklet. He was awarded the bronze class. Original applied photo.

Wehrmacht driver's license. Issued by Panzer-Regiment 6 on 9.3.1936. Original applied photo.

12 photos from his grave and burial. He was buried together with General Willibald Freiherr von Langermann und Erlencamp. Comes with three condolence letters. 

A nice Panzer photo album with 67 photos showing the campaign in France. Taken in the spring and summer of 1940. Additionally three portrait photos of him.
