Nickel-plated steel blade showing the maker's mark of SMF and the Luftwaffe acceptance mark. It is in good condition, however, it has a few small "notches" on the edges and the tip is damaged (see the pictures, please).
Nickel-silver fittings with inlaid sun-wheel swastikas on both sides. Original blue leather-finished handle with intact wire wrapping. The leather on the scabbard was replaced after 1945 as well as the bottom fitting. No dents. All screws are in place.
