A leather jacket which was produced for the Kriegsmarine but later issued to members of the 12. SS Panzer-Division Hitlerjugend, with changed collar and buttons. Please see last pictures for examples of exactly this type in wear.
Stamped "M" and with a large national eagle by the Kriegsmarine depot. "1. Sept. 1942" dated to a cloth tag. Two cloth tags applied to the wool lining.
Soft leather. All buttons complete. Good condition.
