Mid-war solid zinc Panzer Assault Badge in Bronze. Uncommon Vienna Design PAB made by the Salzburg-based maker Arno Wallpach and properly marked with its logo A.W.S. The addition "1942" represents the die's production date. One of the better quality Vienna Design PABs and preserved in very nice condition. Sought after variant. (c.f.
