Leutnant Otto Gaiser served with 10. Staffel/Jagdgeschwader 51. Before he disappeared (22.01.1944), Lt. Gaiser was credited with 66 victories in 380 missions. All his air victories were achieved over the Eastern Front. He was posthumously awarded the Knight's Cross and promoted to Leutnant on 9. June 1944.

Nickel-plated case. White dial showing the maker's mark of Johannes Hartmann, Berlin. Original glass (slightly chipped at the edge). The back shows the Luftwaffe eagle 1st pattern and the inscription "R.L.M." (Reichsluftfahrtministerium). Numbered "28". The serial number is on the inside.
