Very interesting NSSK Dagger made by Karl Julius Krebs Solingen with personalized inscriptions and custom-made vertical hanger.

The blade features the etched motto and on the reverse and etched logo for Carl Julius Krebs.  The blade does have some toning and a slight bend at the tip. 

The brown wooden grips are overall clean with the inlaid eagle and SA roundel.  The fittings are clean but the pommel nut shows signs of being opened.  The crossguard is stamped "B" for Berlin on the reverse but includes the engraved motto "Lieber tot als Knecht" (better dead than a slave) on the front.

The black pained scabbard shows very little loss to paint and the nickel-finished fittings are clean.  The upper fitting is engraved with "Klein Stuf." and the motor group "15/M. 29".  Further, this dagger was fitted with a customized hanger on the rear upper scabbard fitting. 

This is certainly a unique piece that has a story to tell.
