Nickel-plated steel blade with the maker's mark of Carl Eickhorn. It is in nice condition. Only minor stains.
A solid brass handle with genuine horn grip scales bearing the police eagle on the front showing the same patina as the rivets. Aluminum. . "S.M.I" and "469" are marked on the crossguard. The silver plating is worn. Brown leather scabbard (not the correct type for this bayonet) with nickel fittings. The leather is lightly deformed ("wavy"). The bracket is missing. Including a period time frog.
