Very early 1st pattern DLV/Luftwaffe Borddolch. So-called "transitional model".
The blade is in good condition. The tip has a minimal bend. It has some small stains on both sides. "WKC, Solingen" maker marked. Early nickel-silver ("Neusilber") handle fittings. Blue leather finished grip with intact wire wrapping.
Leather-finished scabbard without metal construction inside. Nickel fittings. They are attached by three large staples instead of screws.
With the matching dagger chain. Tombak type. A fully working snap clip. Furthermore a brown leather belt loop.
