Beschreibung
Fine untouched Heer Kavallerie visor cap EM/NCO. It belonged to an Oberfeldwebel serving with Kavallerie-Schützen-Regiment 7 (7.Panzer-Division). We have his Kavallerie parade tunic with two period time attached Tank Destruction Badges available. Please see previous lot. The consignor confirms both have just been found recently and were never available on the market or part of a collection.
 
Fine visor cap with silk lining by "Peküro". No damage to the celluloid diamond. "FK" initial buttons to the sweat-band, The seam of the visor has opened for about 7,5cm and can be repaired easily. Underneath the sweat-band was paper he added to provide a better fit.
"Geprüft 6./K.S.R.7" (Kavallerie-Schützen-Regiment 7) stamped to the inside of the sweat-band. Size 58 stamped.
 
Matching pair of period time attached aluminum insignia. Minor moth damage, mainly to the covered areas of the piping.
 
His full name might be researchable as he could be mentioned in postwar chronicles of his unit.
