Fine Kriegsmarine frock coat to the commander of Marineartillerieabteilung 517, Fanöe and Hafenkommandant Vardö Fregattenkapitän Hans Könnecker.
This coat started its life as a 1933 manufactured Reichsmarine coat. Inside a inner pocket is a February 1933 dated tailors label with Könnecker's name. He purchased the coat of the "Offizierskleiderkasse Wilhelmshaven".
Fine officers insignia with a nice matching patina. Breast eagle attached by hand post 1935 when the Reichsmarine was turned into the Kriegsmarine. The shoulder boards are to remove.
3 loops for a ribbon or medal bar to his left breast pocket. Nice matching "IM FEUER VERGOLDET" marked buttons.
