Kriegsmarine Küstenartillerie field tunic to Hauptmann Duppler serving with Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 523. This unit was based in Südjütland, Denmark. A nice privately tailored example which was probably manufactured in Denmark. The fabric and liner is not typically German.
We found a card named to Oberleutnant zur See Duppler inside one breast pocket. It is 1944 dated and Marine-Artillerie-Abteilung 523 unit stamped!
The breast eagle is attached a little sloppy but in my opinion was period time attached. It matches the condition and patina of the rest of the insignia nicely. Correct Küstenartillerie shoulder boards. Original attached buttons all over.
Two pair of award loops as well as loops for a field ribbon bar.
No rips or moth damage. Light weight construction.
