Nice document grouping to SS-Schütze Friedrich Schmidt serving with SS-Gebirgsjäger-Regiment "Skanderbeg" which was part of SS-Division "Prinz Eugen".
Soldbuch issued on 11.5.1942 by 1./SS-Geb.Jäg.Rgt.2. Removed photograph. Units listed which proof "Prinz Eugen" connection.
He spent some time in the military hospital Arandelovac, Serbia. Awards noted on page 22:

Rare explanation to the reverse which confirms he was involved in anti partisan operations since 1942 "und steht seit 1942 im Bandenkampf".
