Rare Third Reich Bahnschutz visor cap for an Unterführer. A nicely worn cap in good condition. Matching patina all over. Nicely matching zinc eagle and wreath. Tombak cockade. White piping. Light blue cloth with only a hand full of really small moth bites.
Silk lining. "R.B.D.Stuttgart" unit marked. The celluloid diamond shows cracks. The maker is hard to read but it is based in Stuttgart. It also says "Reichsbahn-......" (hard to read) on the bottom position which could mean the maker was a special distributor for the Reichsbahn.
