Grouping to Gefreiter Helmut Ehemann serving with 6./Grenadier-Regiment "Großdeutschland". Ehemann died at the "Hauptverbandsplatz Renge, Latvia, after being seriously injured in September 1944.
Part of the grouping are documents, medals and his family photo album containing photos and a death card of Ehemann. Furthermore about 100 field post letters all to Ehemann serving with Großdeutschland.
His zinc Infantry Assault Badge in silver (unmarked) as well as his unmarked Wound Badge in black. Both in good condition.
His person 1943 pocket calendar with notes. He noted his first assault day, killed comrades or promotions. A photo of him on the first page.
Two more framed photos. Both show him with his "GD" shoulder boards.
Certificate to the Wound Badge in black, a field issued 1943 dated document sending his Iron Cross 2nd Class to his family.
