Third Reich period time forestry "Hirschfänger" with period time etched blade. Made by Eickhorn, Solingen.
Horn handle. Brass metal parts with matching patina. Leather finished scabbard. Green lacquered frog.
Blade ORIGINAL EICKHORN SOLINGEN maker marked. Impressive etching to both sides. A large size national eagle as well as hunting related scenes. Minor pitting.
Scabbard does not hold very good. The spring inside might be not working properly anymore.
