This item belonged to the medal grouping of a Legion Condor veteran. All was found inside a metal box. We can not proof it belonged to one individual which is why the consignor decided to sell individually.

Impressive Luftwaffe flight book of Erich Deckert with 2422 flights listed! The last flight noted was on 21.8.1939.
Inside of the book were several documents on "Flugzeiten" as well as one document with Spanish Cross regulations. There is a handwritten note "9./K.G.4" on it.
Furthermore a "G.H.OSANG" maker marked gold grade with its pin missing, a DRL silver Sports Badge, a Sudetenland Medal, an imperial medal brand a small engraved tag. Inside a metal box where the medals were found.
We are not sure if Erich Deckert was the actual recipient of all medals found. There are some Spanish Cross related documents however he is neither listed as a German Cross nor a Spanish Cross in gold recipient. It might also be a relative.
