Third Reich period time Wehrmacht kettledrum skit. Definitely for an Infanterie-Regiment due the the "IR" lettering. However, no number and there is no signs a number has been removed.

Framing overall from ripped silk. Machine-attached. "IR" letters machine-stiched. Gold national eagles hand-stiched. The two iron crosses again from black ripped silk. White, machine-stiched bordering. Complete bullion fringe to the bottom.
Leather strap with buckle in place. Original. The strap to the other side is broken.
Light staining and moth damage. Moth holes mostly to the reverse. Top loops to attached to the drum removed.
