Unique officer's stick of an officer serving with II. Gruppe of Jagdgeschader 51 "Mölders". Two hand-painted metal tags of that Geschwader/Gruppe attached to this stick.
The top is reenforced with leather to allow a more comfortable use. 11 coins are nailed to the front side. Coins side pilot collected in the countries he fought. He also painted the flags of all countries to the side and painted a question mark on the last position since he wouldn't know where to go next after Russia. The stick was finished in Russia in November 1941.
Original white writing: "Uns geht die Sonne nicht unter" - "Unrasiert u. fern der Heimat" - "Lasse dich nicht aus der Ruhe bringen. Denke an Götz von Berlichingen". "Russland - Nov. 1941".
Metal cover to the bottom. Secured with leather. Original twisted leather cord to the top.
