Important German Eagle Order 2nd Class grouping awarded to Croatian Brigadegeneral Borivoje Josimović (1892-1955). The set includes the cased neck cross and breast star as well as all original documents. A high quality set made by Deschler, München. Type 1. 1937.
Both crosses are made from 900 silver and period time gilt.

Beautiful breast star. Silver. Gilt. The nicest one we have had since years. Silver, gilt. It is "900" marked to the pin.
White enamel in perfect condition. One one tiny little chip (not very deep at all) which is hard to find. You need a loupe.

Correct red case of issue with a black velvet inlay holding both awards. Silk lining with gold printed lettering "Orden vom Deutschen Adler" "Verdienstkreuz mit Stern".
The case opens and closes correctly. It shows some signs of age and use to the outside.

It comes with the original award certificate including the booklet on "Verordnung und Satzung" and its original folder in extremely fine condition.
The document is facsimile signed by Adolf Hitler and comes with an original ink signature of Meissner.
