A rare German WW2 period time escape life vest issued to U-Boot sailors. It includes the mouth piece. All rubber and rubberized parts are still very flexible and soft. The rubber mouth piece shows cracks but is again still very soft.
"Tauchretter" printed to the front side in white ink. All metal parts in good condition.
There was a black strap which is cut off.
It is "No 12201", "16" stamped as well as "M" Kriegsmarine stamped.
