Heer General's coat to Generalmajor Karl Klein. A 1944 tailored coat bought by Klein when he served as an Oberst. The name tag says "Oberst Klein". It is 6.5.1944 dated. Klein was promoted a Generalmajor on 1.12.1944. The name tag is original attached by machine to the inner pocket. On the other side of the pocket is a large tailor's label attached with the same thread: "Josef Andrysek Wien". Both tags are definitely original attached.
The red red General's lapel was added in December 1944 after the promotion. Generalmajor shoulder boards were added. Both boards are definitely matching and come with a lovely patina.
Gilt "EXTRA FEIN" "Assmann" buttons. Period time attached.
Light-grey silk lining. Slightly damaged (holes).
