Very rare early Heer 1st pattern visor cap (Feldmütze alter Art) with light-grey piping which was only worn by members of a Propagandakompanie. Collectors call this typ a "crusher" cap. The cap comes with a soft leather visor. It has the correct insignia hand-attached: Machine-woven silver-wire wreath badge and a EM/NCO cap eagle.
Silk lining. Leather sweat-band with two rips. Minor moth damage.
A great cap with a lot of character. It has certainly seen some years of service.
