'Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen in Silber' (ie. silver class infantry assault badge or IAB), being a non-marked and 'hollow-back' example. The ('Buntmetall'-based-) piece retains almost all of its silver-toned finish and is only minimally used ie. worn. It comes mounted on its functional (and totally unaltered) pin- ie. catch set-up. Of interest is, moreover, the fact that this particular example still retains a fair bit of its (off-factory) polished sides (i.e.. 'hochpolierte Kanten') something that is not always the case. A very attractive example!
