Extremely rare document grouping to SS-Obersturmführer Hans Hubbes who was awarded the Close Combat Clasp in silver. He served with 4. and 5. Aufklärungs-Abteilung Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler and with 12./SS-Panzer-Division "Hitlerjugend" during the Normandy battles (D-Day). The grouping contains original autographes Kurt Meyer and Sepp Dietrich. Hubbes ended up serving with 8./SS-Panzergrenadier-Regiment 25 ("Hitlerjugend") in late 1944 and was part of the battles of the Ardennes. He survived the war.

Certificate to the Infantry Assault Badge in bronze. Issued on 11.3.1942 to SS-Sturmmann Hans Hubbes serving with 4./A.A./LSSAH. Signed by SS-Obergruppenführer Sepp Dietrich. Folded once.

Certificate to the East Medal issued to SS-Standartenjunker Hubbes on 22.8.1942 Signed by a SS-Hauptsturmführer. Folded once.
Certificate to the Wound Badge in silver. Issued to Hubbes serving with 8./SS-Panzergrenadier-Regiment 25 on 5.11.1944 Signed by the bataillon chief. Folded once.
There is a hand-written paper part of this grouping which must have been part of his Soldbuch once. It lists all awards matching to his certificates. In addition, a Close Combat Clasp in silver is listed which was awarded on 1.12.1944. This is proofed by a 1944 taken photo part of this grouping. He was never awarded the Close Combat Clasp in bronze. Furthermore, there is a long list with all battles and campaigns he was part of from May 1941 until 25.6.1943. It is Feldpostnummer 56840 stamped and signed by a SS-Obersturmführer.
There are two original photos part of this grouping. One is "1944" dated and shows Hubbes as a SS-Untersturmführer with all awards and cuffband "Adolf Hitler". He wear the Close Combat Clasp in silver. You can see a Heer sleeve eagle! The other portrait shows him with LAH shoulder boards. He signed it.
There is a SS Junkerschule Braunschweig document as well as a 1946 dated "CIC ARREST REPORT".
Finally, one Third Reich period time "Deutsches Sport-Abzeichen" paper backing for a Sport's Badge lapel pin as well as postwar Sport's Badge related documents. One shows Hubbes in 1983 when he did the Sport's Badge in gold with 65 years of age.
