Wehrmacht, commemorative piece (ie. price) depicting a pilot mounted on a marble-based base. The decorative and greyish-coloured- (ie. zinc-based) pilot (ie. 'Flieger') has an approximate height (minus its base) of 10 cms. whereas the marble-based base (ie. 'Sockel') measures 6 x 6 x 5 cms. The piece - which also shows a tiny airplane-symbol mounted on its base - is void of any engraving nor marking and comes firmly affixed on its mounting. It retains a nice age-patina and was never cleaned nor polished.
