Waffen-SS, tailor-made, camouflaged field-trousers, constructed from camouflaged linnen (of the: 'Plane Tree no. 1' camouflaged-pattern). The trousers presumably originate from a field tailor-shop ('Feldschneiderei') and were made on request (by using parts of a 'Zeltbahn' or even parts of a camouflaged pullover-smock ('Tarnjacke'). The piece retains bright and vivid colours but does show some moderate age and wear. The pair comes mounted on its (also camouflaged) suspenders which are attached to the trousers by means of 4 (zinc-based) buttons. The (fairly large-sized-) pair has a waist of approximately 114 cms. (which can also be shortened by means of an installed cord) and has an approximate length of 111 cms. The trousers are moderately used and do show some age, wear and/or staining: they are, however, void of any damage.
