Waffen-SS, EM- (ie. NCO-) mountain cap (Bermütze). Typical construction with short visor. The cap is executed in field-grey-coloured wool and shows wear and age. The cap shows an EM- (ie. NCO-) pattern eagle and dito (smaller-sized) cap-skull attached. Both insignia-pieces are executed in white-coloured braid on a black-coloured background and are both executed in the so-called: BeVo-weave pattern.
Both insignia-pieces are mounted by hand and do show wear, age and staining (both pieces do also show some fraying as can be seen on the pictures). The cap shows two (beige-coloured- and resin-based-) buttons period-attached and shows some age, wear and staining. Moreover, does it show some (minimal) moth-damage.
The lining is executed in silver-grey-coloured linnen (and is totally void of any marking or date). The cap shows a linnen-based sweat-band inserted: this piece shows wear and age (but is overall complete).
