Waffen-SS 2-hole field tunic for a veterinarien in the rank of a Hauptsturmführer.
Silk lining. Size stamped and „349“ factory (coded) stamped. A typical Waffen-SS stamp.
One pair of award loops for one badge. Clear signs of wear. One ribbon bar attached containing WW1 Austrian medals as well as a War Merite Cross. There is no proof this belonged to the veterinarian officer. East Medal ribbon attached to the button hole.
Machine-embroidered sleeve eagle „zick-zack“ attached by machine. Fine officer’s collar tabs attached by hand. Shoulder boards are quite interesting. The are Heer Panzer boards (pink) and not black backed Waffen-SS boards. Signs of wear.
The collar was period time covered with dark green cloth for „fashion reason“.
You can clearly see this tunic the tunic once had a cuffband attached to the left sleeve.
