Very interesting Wehrmacht light weight field tunic to a Gebirgsjäger Leutnant serving with Geb.Jäg.Rgt.85. A unusual 4-pocket tunic with hidden button. Made from green HBT material and MÜNCHEN I stamped as well as maker marked.
The tunic has a dark green color attached around the original one. You can tell that was period time done for fashion reason. The tabs and the cloth was attached with the same tread. That 100% happened period time. The Edelweiss sleeve badge as well as the machine-woven officers breast eagle also look period time attached to me.
There are no moth holes to this tunic. The condition is worn but good. Only the back of the tunic (near the collar) shows 3 torn areas with rust. This tunic would have hung there for decades. A nail might have caused this damage.
