Wehrmacht M42 helmet with a period time attached wire around the shell. The helmet shows the rest sort of wear and comes with over 90% of the original green color. There traces and light rust caused by the wire. The chin strap is RB-numbered (hard to see) and 1944 dated. The liner could be original to the helmet. A textbook liner with a 56 size stamp.
Helmets with a period time applied wire are very collectable. This is a nice example in good condition 2.
