Grouping to Luftwaffe mechanic (Bordwart) Unteroffizier Leopold Hohenecker which includes his personal bayonet with frog and portepee, two ID tags as well as two flight books.
Rich.Abr.Herder Solingen maker marked blade with period time hand-engraved name of the owner "Gefr. Hohenecker Leopold" as well as "Zur Erinnerung an meinen Dienstzeit in der Luftwaffe vom Okt. 1939 - 194 ". He probably engraved it before he finished his service time to left the year and moth. Certainly privately hand-engraved by Hohenecker himself.
Factory black painted scabbard. Nice brown frog.

One of the flight books shows a photo of Hohenecker wearing the Air Gunner's badge. There are 448 confirmed flights. Many of them in the East. The second flight book only lists 2 missions.
Luftwaffe ID tag "3./Fl.Ausb.Rgt.14". Another hand-engraved (same engraving style as the bayonet blade!) name tag which he probably used for his luggage. It shows he served with H.F.T. SCh.Techn.Komp. Jüterbord Altes Lager once. This unit is also noted several times in one of his flight books.
