Bishopric of Eichstätt Infantry sabre. Around 1800.
Braas handle. Engraved "I-N-M". Broken cross guard. The blade etched with the coat of arms of Eichstätt as well as the inscription "Eichstätt" to both sides. Leather scabbard with brass metal fittings. The belt stud to the upper fitting is missing and small dents to the lower fitting.
The sabre can no longer pushed completely into the scabbard.
Length: 74.5cm
A rare sabre.
Signs of age. Condition 3+.
