A very interesting private purchased Heer M43 officer's cap tailored from cloth regularly issued to OT (Organisation Todt) troops. It could have been tailored for tropical service according to the personal taste of this officer.
The insignia are definitely original attached by hand and both show the same sort of minor corrosion. Minor corrosion to the silver officer's cord as well.
Green silk lining. Sweat-band with a mark of a maker based in "WIEN" (Vienna).
