A very rare Wehrmacht helmet variant! Not only for its remaining camo paint but its type. An M42 helmet produced without ventilation holes! Only a very small number of M42 helmets without holes ever turned up. Known maker code are CKL, EF, ETC, HKP and QVL. This example is EF64 stamped to the rear. While come collectors believe these helmet were made in 1945, it is more likely that they were produced in mid 1944 as some sort of prototype and issued in small numbers to troops to test it.
Original sprayed three color camo paint left to the shell. Original applied lining to the helmet. leather with replacement cord. Particularly dry.
