Wehrmacht Heer assault-gunners trousers (ie. 'Hose für Panzerschützanzug') as was produced in greenish-coloured HBT- (ie. 'Drillich'-) material.
Please note that the wrapper came with Assault Gunner wrapper made from HBT (previous lot). Both were made from the same cloth.
The piece was with certainty issued and was moderately used and/or worn. All (carton-based-) buttons (which are non-marked) are present and in place. The piece shows a single (larger-sized) outer-pocket on its left upper-leg (as to be expected) and shows a standard-pattern, greyish-coloured and 'silk-like' lining.
The integrated belt is naturally also present and in place. The piece shows a clearly ink-stamped maker- (ie. size-) stamp comprising of an: 'Rbn.'-number (that reads: '1/1044 /8840') and size-indication: '168 - 172 - 76 - 90'. Next to this, it shows a year-designation that reads: 'S 44'.
The trousers is fairly large-sized and will with certainty fit a medium-sized mannequin: it has a waist of approximately: 96 cms.
Simply an untouched and rarely seen 'Hose für Heeres-Panzerschützanzug in Drillich'. It could be of interest to mention that this trousers is constructed from exactly the same material as the 'Heeres-Panzerschützjacke in Drillich' which is also offered within this auction.
