According to our consignor this medal grouping came out of the estate of Oberst Hans von Schlebrügge. He served with Husarenregiment 12 in WWI and from 1919 to 1921 with Freikorps "Schlebrügge" which was founded by himself. In WWII he served with Gebirgsjägerregiment 100 and 139 and was awarded the Knight's Cross on 20. June 1940 in Narvik. He is known as founder of the Skijägertruppe as well.

Nice 6-place medal with 1914 Iron Cross 2nd Class, Saxony-Weimar Order of the White Falcon - Knight Cross 2nd Class with swords (no chipping), Honor Cross of WWI, Silesian Eagle 2nd Class, Wehrmacht/Heer Long Service Award for 4 years and Austria-Hungary 1914-1918 PRO DEO ET PATRIA medal.

1914 Iron Cross 1st Class. Three-part construction. Iron core. Slightly curved. A worn cross with "character".

Silesian Eagle 1st Class on screw-back. Marked to the reverse. The screw-back also "D.R.G.M." and "653146" marked. Multi-piece construction.
