The photo album comes with roughly 50 photos (large size).
It contains very nice photographs of the flying boat Dornier Do X. The Dornier Do X was the largest and heaviest as well as most powerful flying boat in the world when it was produced in 1929. Built by Dornier-Werke GmbH, Germany. The photos show good images of the interior as well as the technology. Including shots of the Dornier Do X2 „Umberto Maddalena", which was delivered to the Italian company SANA. Furthermore of the the flying boat "CALCUTTA" by Imperial Airways.
Five photos of a damaged aircraft. Possibly very rare photographs of the Dornier Do X crash on 9. May 1933 near Passau (Kachletkraftwerk).
