Amazing prewar wooden walking stick for a Panzer soldier serving with 1. Kompanie of Panzer-Regiment 3.
Blackened wooden stick with round handle. Pink silk codes and bows original attached. Brass bottom part.
Absolutely untouched and never seen before like that. An early tombak collar tab skull was added to the stick.
Gold color lettering going around the stick from the top to the bottom:
WER TREU GEDIENT HAT DEM SEINE ZEIT DEM SEI EIN VOLLES GLAS GEWEIHT. ZUM ANDENKEN AN DIE 1. KOMP. PZ.R.3 - 30.9.1937
This stick was owned by a young Panzer soldier who finished his military service. It was two years at this time so he must have served from 1935 until 30.9.1937 not assuming that he will be called again for service in 1939 again.
The words mean that it is well worth on having a drink on someone who faithfully finished his service time.
The stick is unique and must have looked great with the pink cords and the black wood at the time (Panzer colors).
