Very nice Third Reich photo album with roughly 170 photographs in total. It nicely documents the service time of a SS soldier serving with 1./SS-Pionier Sturmbann. Impressive cover with SS-runes and skull to the front. Lettering "SS-Pionier Sturmbann".
The album contains early Allgemeine-SS and SS-Verfügungstruppe photos (from 1935). Including photographs of Adolf Hilter, Heinrich Himmler, SS-Obergruppenführer und General der Waffen-SS August Heißmeyer, NSDAP Gauleiter Martin Mutschmann, Hermann Göring, Rudolf Hess, SS-Obersturmbannführer Fritz Bunse (Knight's Cross winner) and SS-Oberführer Karl Ullrich (Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves winner).
Some soldiers are wearing the rare cuffband "SS-Pioniersturmbann". Furthermore shots of the Reichsparteitag 1935, 9. November 1935 in Munich "Hitlerputsch", Anschluss of Austria and occupation of Czechoslovakia. The album provides many interesting handwritten notes and
informations of the unit.
