Very interesting late war canteen with 1945 dated straps! All parts are marked by the same factory which used bits of various years to manufacture this canteen.
Aluminium bottle with an impregnated wood covering. "HRE 42" maker
marked and "D.R.G.M." as well as "D.P.R.angm" marked. Webbing straps.
The buckle "HRE 44" maker marked. Clipper fully working. The leather strap (soft) around the bottle "H.R.E." maker marked and "45" dated. Ink stamped inside.
The cup is missing.
A nice canteen in good condition.
