M40 field uniform to Leutnant Wilhelm Grimm who was awarded the German Cross in gold as an Oberfeldwebel on 30.5.1942 serving with 3./Infanterie-Regiment 67.
Excellent M40 uniform with a dark green "M36 style" collar. Full original attached insignia including an original attached East Medal ribbon. Four pair of loops for 4 awards including his German Cross in gold. 100% original attached and with clear signs of wear and patina left by his medals.
The collar tabs are attached by machine. The officer's style machine-woven bullion eagle attached by hand.
Full original attached buttons with original factory paint. Nice Inf.Rgt.67 Leutnant shoulder boards.
Typical cotton lining with a B40 depot stamp and size markings. Interestingly, the uniform was officially re-sized by the depot and received new size markings.
Excellent condition 1-. Only a few tiny moth bites if you check carefully.
Important: This is not the same tunic shown on the original photo of Lt. Grimm shipped with this tunic. He wears a 6 button tunic while his M40 is a 5 button tunic.
